An electromagnetic print-head for EBS-1500 series printing systems. It contains a printing unit where nozzle valves are controlled with the application of electromagnetic transducers. Housings of the same type cover 7, 12 or 16-dot print-heads which differ in the number of valves and nozzles installed inside them. The electromagnetic print-head has the following properties:
It is designed for making durable and legible prints on practically any material and a variety of types of surface, smooth, porous and also uneven surfaces of irregular shapes, such as pipes, bags, insulation sleeves, fabrics, extruded packing,
It can run as part of single-head or multi-head systems under the control of general-purpose controllers UPC EBS-1501(2) or UPC EBS-1506,
The print-heads can work with 1500/20 series piezoceramic print-heads as part of the a printing system controlled by the same controller,
It is equipped with a holder where a photo-detector of objects is installed and a guide rail to hold a minimum distance between the print-head and an object; both elements are installed on the right or left of the print-head according to the direction of object movement,
The print-heads can print with coloured dye or pigment-based inks, with each print-head using only one ink type,
Each print-head in the printing system can be supplied with its own ink supply system, thus offering an opportunity of using different inks, or it can be linked into a common ink-supply system,
